This explains, in plain language, what information the Maflun Academy portal collects about pupils and parents, and how it's used and protected. Last updated: .
This information is used only to run the school's academic and fee administration: to let you check your child's results and fee balance, to let the school office track payments, and to let teaching staff record academic progress.
Every login is a real, individual account — not a shared password. Access to a child's records is restricted at the database level, so it isn't just hidden in the app; it genuinely cannot be retrieved by an account that isn't the linked parent or an authorized staff member. Online payments are verified directly with Paystack before being recorded, so payment records can't be falsified. Sessions end automatically after a period of inactivity to protect shared or public devices.
We keep academic and fee records for as long as your child is enrolled at the school, and for a reasonable period afterward for academic reference purposes (such as providing transcripts). If you'd like your child's portal login specifically deactivated, contact the school office.
You can ask the school office at any time to see what information is held about your child, to correct anything inaccurate, or to ask questions about how it's used. If you're not satisfied with how a request is handled, you have the right to contact Nigeria's Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
For any question about this notice or your child's information, contact the school office directly:
